You can expect

  • Communication

I am only an email away. Tell me what you like, amd what you don’t like. I want to get to know you and your style. The more you share with me, the more personalized your album will be!

  • Invitation

Bring someone you trust to your photo shoot. Whether a parent or a friend, it helps to have someone to cheer you on, keep your phone, maybe even hold a reflector now and then!

  • Support

Have questions? Ask me! No question is too small. I want you to be comfortable at your session. The more you know, the more comfortable you will feel.

  • Options

There are many opportunities to make your photo shoot your own. I offer portrait sessions to fit most budgets. When choosing your session you have the opportunity to offer input on location, choose outfits, bring props, and more.

  • Transformation

You might be a bit anxious when you start preparing for your session or when you first arrive on location. It won’t last! We will get warmed up. The butterflies will fade. We will be a little silly and your pictures will just keep getting better!

  • Confidence

Effortless photos don’t just happen. I will direct you through your shoot to get fun, creative photos that you will love. You will hear me say “feels weird, looks great” more than once, and it will. Put your trust in me, and your personality will shine.

Preparation

Parents and Seniors

I encourage seniors to bring a parent to our session. It is fantastic to have a parent along to help their child feel comfortable. A second set of eyes looking for out of place hair or clothing adjustments is invaluable. It is also helpful to have an extra hand to hang on to the senior’s personal items. I might even ask a guest to hold a flash or reflector to make sure we get the most out of the sunlight nature is providing us.

It is also quite natural for students to feel nervous in front of parents. Be aware that parents are not required to attend the session. Seniors can attend portrait sessions alone or with a friend or older sibling as well.

If you have any questions, please let me know! Comfort is the ultimate goal, whatever that means for you or your child let’s make a plan to get the best photos possible! Parents I use senior’s portraits for marketing and portfolio purposes. If you do not want your child’s photos shared, you must let me know of that wish in writing by email.
